EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY

All of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) at START have studied a 4 year Univeristy bachelor degree to become qualified allied health professionals. Our AEPs are experts in assessing, planning and delivering effective exercise programs for numerous conditions and client goals. We pride ourselves in working as part of an allied health team with Physiotherapist, Consultants and other health professionals to individualise clients exercise programs.

Our AEPs are leading experts in Musculoskeletal Exercise Physiology which is the ability to identify movement dysfunctions that cause pain or impairment and prescribe exercise to improve theses aspects. During your time interacting with our AEPS they will:

  • Review your condition and past medical history.

  • Assess the contributing factors which can be affecting your condition.

  • Deliver a comprehensive individualised exercise intervention targeted to help you achieve your goals.

  • Reassess and monitor your progress through the exercise intervention.

  • Discharge or develop new goals and plan to work towards.
