Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours)

Grace is an Exercise Physiologist who has a keen interest in Mental Health, Chronic Pain, Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, and Work Related Injuries. She also has a passion for working with those who have experienced complex trauma or stress and using movement as a form of healing and recovery. Grace believes a strong body is the key to a strong life. 

Grace graduated with honors in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The University of Queensland in 2022. She began her career on the Gold Coast, working in private practice where she focused on the benefits of strength training to assist in the management and rehabilitation of chronic conditions. Here she also assisted in the development of a cancer survivorship program, where she worked with cancer patients and survivors to manage their treatment and survivorship through exercise. 

Currently, Grace is pursuing her PhD at The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on developing trauma-informed training programs for Exercise Physiologists, aiming to integrate a deeper understanding of trauma and its effects into the practice of Exercise Physiology.
